Traditional arrangements can get annoying after playing them for years upon years, but now we get some great arrangements

Pamela Wedgwood for instance has done some great chrimble arrangements for piano and she's released 'Christmas Jazzin' about' for loads of other instruments including alto sax.
But i do particularly enjoy 'Hark the Herald Angels SIng' and 'The First Noel" (Or Nowell as spelt in my book...)
But our school band always played at the crimble carol concert and they were always the same arrangements of the same carols in the same key, with the same insturments, arranged with the same simplicity, and the same people making the same mistakes...and that WAS annoying and these carols were loathed so much more by the members of the band.
And when we have to practise them from september they do start to warp your head. But what's christmas without them eh?
