i like piano
i hope i didn't spell it wrongly.my teacher gave me this book today.and i would like to know is there anyone here who also uses this book?the songs seems quite nice.i like it!! rolleyes.gif

Which book do you mean? There are lots of books by Pamela Wedgwood- I played one of the pieces from "Green Jazzin' About" for my grade 5 exam a couple of years ago.

I had "Jazzin' about" and "More jazzin' about", they were really fun and I learnt a lot from them! I also had Green but I didn't like it as much as the others.

I've got "Jazzin' About" and "Christmas Jazzin' About" and also "Jazzin' about for Trumpet and Piano", which I play with my brother. They're brilliant!

i have the one with me is Up-Grade! (Light relief between grades,for Grades 4-5).i love "chasing rainbows"...what a beautiful piece!

i'm having the up-grade.but the songs really nice. and i would never hesitate to take up jazzin about series too. biggrin.gif

I had her 'Jazzin about' and Green book thingy (Eco-themes), her songs are quite nice, and some really worth trying, for elementary jazz....
My teacher is currently still searching her christmas jazz book.... unsure.gif

Pamela Wedgewood is great! I had the reall easy jazzin about and want to get some of the other books now!!

I used to love playing pamela wedgewood-shame it only went up to grade 5?

Pamela Wedgwood also has 3 other books that are around grade 4 - 6 called After Hours (no 1, 2 and 3) Some really great pieces here as well.

i use jazzin bout books quite a lot - great for teachin etc..i've found anyway
