Ok, this is an arrangement of the song Summertime (Gershwin). Tempo - as every other version, about crotchet=68.

Line 2.
Right Hand.
Iterated notes. They go at a fair speed but no emphasis on the first note of each triple.
What fingering?
Taking the first few, I'm using:
5-4-1 : 5-4-1 : 4-3-1 : 4-3-1 : 5-4-1 etc

I'm not up to speed but it would be interesting to hear what others think. So please would any seasoned pianists care to venture an opinion on how that second line RH should be played?

There are lots of nasties about it - it's the hardest arrangement of this song I've encountered.
Many thanks,

I've not played this arrangement, but looking at it I'd agree with your fingering...

Whose arrangement of Summertime is it?

3-2-1 3-2-1 all the way.

yeah I'd probably do that coz they're your strongest fingers and for me the safest option!

At speed, and with small hands... in this particular piece I'd find it very difficult. But I can see your point!

Another option is :
3-2-1 5-3-1(or 3-2-1) 3-2-1 3-2-1,
3-2-1 3-2-1 4-3-1, 3-2-1 4-3-1 3-2-1,
4-3-2 (keep hand relaxed) 3-2-1 4-3-1

or something like that.

The main idea is to mix in a few 4-3-1 or 4-3-2 so you don't get confused.

Thank you all for that.

Still at the stage where I can experiment with alternatives. I shall try.
