Many years ago on Radio 3 was broadcast an organ recital that included a work by Cyril Rootham on Vaughan Williams' Five Variants on Dives & Lazarus. I don't think it was a straight transcription of the VW work since it contained a fairly vigorous fugue that built and built towards the end of the piece.

Almost as many years ago I came across the sheet music within a compendium, one volume of a set, but have never been able to find it again.

Has anyone else ever heard the organ piece to which I'm alluding? That volume containing the work?
