is anyone waiting to pass thier theory to get on to higher exams

I know people who are, but I actually took my theory before my grade 5! It was in the same session, but about a month earlier! I don't understand why many people don't start learning theory until they actually need it, it makes everything far harder as you never actually understand the reasoning behing the music that you are playing.

Me well im sort of waiting i just need to work through the books so i can sit the exam so i can do my grade 6/7 singing
