Hey, i've been playing guitar for about 2 years. I've never done any sort of formal exam, I've never even had a guitar teacher, I've taught myself everything. I want to join a music course at my local college and the requirement is that you are around grade 3.

So... I've got to try and work out what grade 3 is in rock songs

Anyone know any songs that are around grade 3 for guitar?

If you look at the Registry of Guitar tutors as they do rock guitar exams. And there guidelines will give you an idea of the scales, chords, technique and standard of improvisation that will be expected of you.
