Full Version: Looking For A Good Midi Site

Hello,
I am looking for a good MIDI site. I download music in MIDI format on floppy discs and learn to play them on my Yamaha keyboard. There is a little LCD display that shows me which keys to play. I love Richard Clayderman piano but I've had a hard time finding reliable, good quality MIDI sites. Anyone out there who can direct me to such a site? I love to play intermidiate level contemporary piano music, any suggestions?
Help is greatly appreciated.

Happy hols to you too.

But this site is about performance and theory of music in the more traditional sense. A few people know of midi sites but it isn't the preoccupation obviously so you may have to wait a while. I can't see the point in them - doesn't yamaha allow you to make your own?

Well maybe we could change that, eh Christine Morris, with a Music Tech forum? biggrin.gif

I personally think it could be helpful to me - as a singer and no pianist, it is helpful for me to be able to track down midis of the songs I am currently working on.

There's a site: www.classicalarchives.com Theyhave loads of good classical midi files created from the original scores. Whether they've got what you need is a different matter....

Try this site

http://www.midisite.co.uk/midi_search/rich...clayderman.html

...for example - here is the midi file for Ballade pour Adeline

(I like Clayderman too. Good luck!)
