I have played this piece through and like it much better with swung quavers all the way through. I have read the teaching notes which suggest only 3 places where swung quavers may be incorporated.... what do people think - should all quavers be swung or not?

Yes it should be swung. It tells you to at above the music - 2 quavers = crotchet, quaver triplet.

I played it at a festival and swung it all, like some of the other people, but played it slower and more laid back, unlike other people, at the marked time (which to me makes sense!) and the judge commented on this and i scored really highly!
this is going back afew years now but its nice to know that i can play a piece that other people are enjoying too!

Yes I think all the quavers should be swung. Thats the way my students will be playing it for their exams next month.
