I probably dont need to know this yet as I havnt been playing very long but I was hoping someone could tell me anyway.

Hi Allegro, why do you need to know the other positions? 
After the notes in the the first position have learned it is usual to learn the third position; that is you place your first finger where you would normally place your third finger. ie if you were to play G major scale starting in the first position, when you have played F# with your seond finger on the D string you would then shift position so that your first finger would play the G.
Don't worry about other positions unitl your intonation is right in the first position.
