Argh! I can't find it on most internet sites and I REALLY need it before too long, does anyone know of a website that sells this piece of music? I tried the Boosey and Hawkes page but they haven't updated their syllabus music page with the new sheets.

I gather you mean the Shostakovich Elegie.
I don't know of any proprietary music websites, such as Musicroom, who stock Peters Edition, and Elegie seems to be contained in an album of Shostakovich works published by Peters Edition, EP4794. I would suggest you contact a music supplier near you who would be able to order it, or search the Boosey & Hawkes website by composer, www.boosey.com/shop
Alternatively, Chappell's of Bond Street in London offer an excellent mail order service and normally keep in stock most of what's listed on the exam syllabus. Their phone number is 020 7491 2777 extn. 300
Good luck

Hi Chris 118
I had no trouble getting the Shostakowitsch from the Bristol Violin shop. It is the whole work not just the elegie and its in German.
The phone number of the Bristol violin shop is 0117 925 9990; the website is www.bristol-violin-shop.co.uk or Email: sales@bristol-violin-shop.co.uk.

Have you found it yet??
I have it in a book of other lovely pieces by Shostakovich (don't you just love him!!) called "Albumstucke" published bu Peters.
Try www.musicroom.com and order it online.
