How much does them cost?
Oddball
They tend to cost upwards of lots...

Probably around £30,000 to £50,000

hmm .... after tax with my current salary... I need 2 - 3 years saving (without spending any money including food, cloth etc...). I can never afford one.

I've had the privelage of being taught piano on one. One of my teachers kept a 7ft Bosendorfer grand that dated from the early 1900s. I can't spot a great difference in sound over a Steinway, but many people swear by it as the better piano. Having changed to another teacher when I was 15 I don't remember too much about it apart from the hard touch it had in comparison to my Russian upright at home

That's the only Bosendorfer that I've played on. Nowadays my favourite pianos are between the Steinway and Yamaha grands
