I don't know if i'm posting in the correct area anyhow i'm sure a mod will move it if i have

I've been learning Alto Sax since February 2010, my children bought me a sax for xmas i was very pleased, as i have wanted to play sax since i was a teenager (i'm now 48) !!!

Just wanted to introduce myself

Doesn't really matter where you choose to introduce yourself though there is a thread in the cafe.
Do have a look around. Of particular interest may be the Viva Woodwind board. If you might like to meet and play with other (mostly) adult learners then do check out the Events board at the top of the General forum.

Welcome trimmy, this is a lively and entertaining forum as well as addressing serious issues.

I've been playing tenor sax for all of two weeks, so you will be streets ahead of me! When I get round to it, I'll start a beginners' sax thread - I don't think we have one yet but if anyone knows otherwise, please let me know!!

I've been playing clarinet for a few years longer (hence my username!) and am usually to be found in Viva Woodwind. Look forward to reading your posts!
