In a similar vein to the "What will you do when you log off" and "What were you doing before you logged on" thread, what are you actually supposed to be doing right now?
I'm supposed to be on a webinar at work. Well I am on it, but it was boring to start with and it has already over-run by 20 minutes. My already poor attention span has reached its limit and I absolutely have to find something to keep me awake!

Not sure it was this time.
A bit of the struggling to get the fingers to do the right thing so everything else is wrong too.
Why does trouble with fingers cause everything else to tense up?

Usually it's because a bit of mild panic sets in, and that's guaranteed to cause tension. You've done I feel a good thing to take a break : you can always come back to it later.

I don't even get a half-term holiday! Stupid university. Well, I have 'reading week' next week, but I can't even go home for that because of rehearsals. And I've got loads of work to do. I am taking a one-night break to go to London though

Since I fell asleep at my desk earlier, I lost a lot of potential assignment time

That's what I should be doing right now.

Well I'm here because I can't decide what I should be doing right now!
Possibly domestic admin: boring
or typing up hymn list for church: boring
or sorting out music for weekend: not so boring, but it requires decisions, and it is half term (as BC says)
or tidying up: always boring and never-ending.
So.......that's why I'm here.

I have to finish an assignment that's due in before 5pm tomorrow; buy some ink so that I can actually print off aforementioned assignment (though I might just ask my friend if I can use her printer); buy a keyboard; analyse the exposition in Beethoven's Sonata Op. 10 no. 2; get started on my performance coursework because it's due in Monday week and I'm going to London on Thursday and Friday; aaaand order a particular book of studies that my oboe teacher wants me to get.
Oh, and I'm in desperate need of socks.

I brought my oboe with me but the rooms are really bare and I think the sound will just bounce off the walls and floor and amplify

Writing a review of one of the most mangled, confusing, disjointed and badly written papers I've encountered for a while. What kinda lecturer sets this sort of thing as coursework?!
(More pertinently, how on Earth do they get through peer review without a note to the effect of "Please re-write with a sensible structure and in English, so I can tell whether your methods and analysis is actually okay or not!"
