Well suddenly I had this question going through my head. Shall I introduce my accompanist in the exam?
Maybe it is silly to think about it, but if I would do a rehearsal I would do it and for me the accompanist is important.

I always have done so, in every exam I've taken. And thanked the accompanist when their part of the job is done and they're going out.

Thank you for your reply katyjay, that is exactly what I felt about it, I just wasn't shure if it could be something that is not wanted in an exam. Now I feel better being shure that it is alright! biggrin.gif

Unless your accompanist has already been in and out with the previous 15 candidates!! biggrin.gif
And a big thank you always goes down well.

I think it would show good manners to thank the accompanist - but of course I am biased as my OH works PT as an accompanist.

You are right, it would be redicoulus to introduce someone who already might have been introduced several times (but I can't be shure) wacko.gif . But for shure a big thank you is something that I would always want to give.
In this case I am the only candidate she will accompaign, so no question to introduce her.

I think, if it would be my husband who will accompaign, I would give a big thank you anyway, maybe a special one, because it might be more difficult to accompaign your husband. biggrin.gif
