IPB Image
in which case it is an Alto

or this size?
IPB Image (Soprano)

or (unlikely..)
IPB Image (Baritone I think)

*smug* - my pictures worked!!
barry-clari
Baritone it is, SueHM smile.gif
Devonclari
I've only got a clari and treble recorder that I could bring but would be willing to have a go at any instrument
MusicalNitWit
Well it's not the middle one but those gentlemen may be vertically challenged so I'm still unsure! laugh.gif I think it's Alto!

Hello scotliz, I haven't been on the forum for a while now - what with Easter and all those Bank Holidays and children around my feet! - however sadly I can't make 4 June as my eldest son is taking part in the London Youth Games that day. So it'll be a breezy day by the river for me. Hope the event goes well for you!
PianoNotes
Lol. I've got a little recorder.

Lol. I've got a little recorder.

If you can play a little recorder, you can play a big recorder.... biggrin.gif
PianoNotes
Erm, "I've got one" doesn't equal "I know how to play it". Lol. I suppose I could learn a few notes by Stalybridge as I do have a tutor book floating around somewhere. wub.gif clarinet.gif whoops wrong instrument. sleep.gif
PianoNotes
I now know that the left-hand is supposed to be at the top of the recorder and I can play "B".
SueHM
Excellent. Add one new note a day and you’ll be sorted by the time you get to Gloucester!!

It looks like there will be 13 - 15 playing at the concert so may be room for folk who would like to perform another piece. Can you let me know asap if you would like to perform something else and how long it lasts.
I will ensure any more information about the day is available next weekend.

How long will our 'new orchestra' piece last - SueHM and Katyjay?

So far attendees are:

Christopher O
Katyjay
Daisychain
Blackbird 77
Pianonotes
Devonclari
Gedall40
SueHM
Helen
Scotliz and duet partner
Lois and mum Lois
+ two local folk

I will be doing a duet as will Gedall40 and Devonclari. There could potentially be a duet from team Lois.

Looking forward to seeing you at the concert.
ChristopherO
Looking forward to it scotliz clarinet.gif
If you like we could also do Stranger again
- see what you think when we get together?

All's well. Music received. Thank you. smile.gif

If the offer is still available, Scotliz, could I have another 2 minutes to play a flute solo piece please? No accompaniment needed. It is "Circus Flute" by Alan Bullard and one or two people who are coming might know why I want to play it rolleyes.gif .

(It has nothing to do with my forthcoming Grade 7 exam!)

Oh all right then, yes, I want to play it in front of people to get the experience and find the bits that need more practice before the examiner hears it smile.gif

That's fine - there's space in the programme - just been doing a draft of the programme this evening so I will go and add your piece to that.

Thank you - I will tell my teacher that my study piece will get a performance as well as the Poulenc.

What with playing my list A piece (Mozart) at Birmingham last year, and the sight reading of the "new orchestra" piece, it is turning into a mock exam for me biggrin.gif . It only needs some people to call out a few scales at random to complete the practical tests laugh.gif

No, No, I am joking, honestly ohmy.gif ph34r.gif ill.gif

katyjay
Yes please biggrin.gif
DaisyChain
Yes please. smile.gif Thank you.
Hardying
Yes, provided it's somewhere that caters for vegetarians - so no meat or fish! smile.gif or hot spicy food either. ill.gif
Thanks for all your efforts biggrin.gif

Yes, please. Thanks.

Sorry I wouldn't be able to attend the meal but hope you have a great time.

Tapas sound great, look great, smell great, taste great and feel great.

Like the sound of all this: lunch at 1.00 probably, then afternoon tea, then supper at 5.15 and probably something else to eat at my friends' later in the evening. Roll on Saturday.
scotliz
Am at scotliz' house ready for the off! Looking forward to a good day!
