Yeah... although I quite like Rhyl sometimes, depending on my mood! Prestatyn is boring... *goes into a dream* But Rhyl has the sun centre... and the aquarium... and the cinema and that cute little kiddies train that runs through the Childrens village thingie.

Hey nahhhhh! Dere's nuffink rong wiv Croydon....is there?
Still, I's remembrin it from the days before de Witgif' centre was covered over an replaced wiv yer bog standard mall. And they was demolishing some 'ahses just below west croydon station (forget what the road was called - going in the Mitcham direction) and did some photography there. Sorry, error of style: got me kamra aht and took some snaps.
I still like it though. A lot to the place. Did a stint of work close to Surrey St. That hasn't changed!
I lived in Telford Ave at the top of Brixton Hill for a couple of years then moved nearer St Leonards, then back to Purley (where one has to mind ones Ps and Qs. Furze Lane and all that, you kneeow...{glances round furtively to check if being tailed})

no Surrey Street hasn't really changed - except the range of stalls has broadened a bit.

Oh, what????!?!?!?!
Now why would you want to live in this cold, miserable place where people live in houses hardly larger than your American telephone booths.
Seriously, for curiosity I recently visited a "show house" for some flats being built in a fill-in near where I live. The living room was 13ft X 9ft. I thought they were joking and said thats the second bedroom surely, but no. I mean, with a bit of furniture, you could hold a raving party for about 4 people!!! .. Won't even describe the bathroom.
So, nice if you can afford somewhere like Cheeble Mansions or a house in Teddington, if you have $30million to spare...but for the rest of us....
And it's so cold. So here am I planning on moving to S.W. France this year close to the Medi. Is it the new language things that puts you off, because it really is a lovely place to live? (And you don't buy wine at high prices in the supermarket - you take your bottle/jerry can or whatever, round to the seller and have it filled up for about $1.50 a pint! (hope I got these measures right. Thats another thing I like about the States, they've gone on using intuitvely easy measures like feet and inches. So much easier to say that 1'm 6ft tall than 1.8735 metres or whatever it is!)
Mind, I'd love to live somewhere like San Diego - Arizona may be a bit too hot but I could live in Phoenix with a flat in LA for the summer! (As you gather, I like the warm)
