Hi all.

I've just discovered music by John Field and bought the music book of Nocturnes which are brilliant !

I've also got the CD piano vol I which has Sonatas on it too.

I really would like the sheet music for one particular piece.

Sonata in A major Op.1, No 2

But I can only find music books with Nocturnes and/or Sonatas.

I have looked on the usual web sites that we all reccomend for sheet music but no luck !

Can anyone help me to find just sheet music ?

Actually, his music sounds very similar to Chopin only Field was around before Chopin.

I think Fields work is a little more uplifting.


I suppose if you like Chopin, you will probably like Field too

Actually, I forgot 8notes. Thanks !

I've searched Google for John Field but they tend to be music books rather than sheet - well for the Sonata I want at least.

Shall keep trying !
