I'm going to hold Cambridge's offer, and not hold a second one because all my other offers are higher.

My daughter's friend is in her first year at Bangor. Daughter went for a visit a few weeks ago and really enjoyed seeing round.

my first offer is oxford, jesus college, but i still have two uni interviews to go before i choose a second, as all my offers so far are AAB - ABB.
anyone else a bit tired of wating around for offers? seemed like i filled my ucas form online years ago.........

i agree totaly hornplayer, they take forever don't they? what makes it worse is that i "wasted" a year on AS levels before going to college...so i feel like i ought to already be stuck into my first year of uni already
hope everybody gets good offers to all their choices... whenever they let you know about it

I've only had an unofficial one from Hull!

It's taking ages! I've heard from Huddersfield and have to audition. Hull's my first choice at the mo!

Have you BEEN to Hull? The music department's a little... iffy.

i considered sound design at lincoln, then decided against it because it was based in hull. i just don't like the entire town- but i'm biased for personal reasons.

No, I haven't been to Hull. Hull's not actually my first choice, but as it's the only one I have an offer from, it has to be at the moment! I put Hull down more to cover my back, because the grades needed were lower than the others I applied to. Having said that, I have a friend from Hull and she liked living there and another friend went to an open day for music there and she liked the look of it, so I will reserve judgement til I see it!

david will have a comment, and then nat will have one, and it will be almost like an argument but not really. And then when it's done there shall be mass hugging and general good will of mankind.

Bangor was great! The location is lovely (town next to the mountains and the sea), you can choose from loads of different modules to make up your course so if you don't like writing essays then you don't have to, if you don't like aural then don't do it, if you want to learn Italian then do that! The halls of residence are good if you get into the newer ones, (I think there is one old one left) - and all my friends from my course are now working as music teachers in various places. Oh, and I forgot, I managed to get through my degree without taking any exams (choose modules carefully!). My only mistake was doing a course in Schenkerian Analysis, anyone else done that? Its wierd.
