I'm at work wearing my pyjamas Hope the students I'm lecturing this afternoon don't take offence.... (it's an all in one sleep suit so I suppose I'm even more covered up than I would be normally)

Good work! I've lost count of the times I've dreamed of going to work without getting dressed properly... I reckon some of the students may not click and might think that you've lost the plot!

I'm being boring and doing nothing. I already give to the charities close to my heart directly via the Give As You Earn scheme.

Not doing Comic Relief this year. There is a local issue (very very close to my heart) which has taken over the day here in Tonedeaftown - Spent all yesterday evening baking and will be spending all afternoon face and nail painting.

Also wearing quite dreadful knee socks with ribbons. Am nearly 40. It is not a good look.

My boys' school is having a pyjama day. Cost so far is:

2 red noses ?2
2 dressing gowns ?18
Fee to wear pyjamas to school ?2

And I still feel uncharitable telling the collectors with buckets that I've already given

If you gave money every time you were asked/pestered, you'd be skint! Think of it that way.

We had a few people wandering round in silly costumes and a collection bucket was circulating the building all day.

How did I know someone was going to post something like that...

I went into Ryman's for some stationery bits and pieces on Monday and bought this pen one pound. Some of my student's during the week wanted to pinch it off me. Most said they were going to buy one. It's a strange looking thing, but quite sweet at the same time......
