I am interested in exploring some Russian song (voice + piano, listening not performing).
The obvious candidates would be Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov and Mussourgsky.
I wondered if any of you had any favourite CDs that you would recommend.

For some lighter repretiore, you could try searching for the singer Ivan Rebroff. There is quite a lot of him on YouTube.
