Several times I have tried to get some information on when the Board's Jazz Piano exams will be in New York; to-date I cannot seem to find out. It seems not even the local representatives have any idea. Does anyone really know???

Jazz in America and Canada
Once again, January saw the Associated Board exhibiting at the conference of the International Association for Jazz Education (IAJE), this year in Long Calafornia. Â We are also looking forward to the first jazz exams in Canada and the USA this April with candidates preparing now for assessments in Manitoba and New York.

I know that doesn't help and give you precise information but at least it says that they exist!

Thanks! At least there is some idea as to the length of time for preparation students have.

Dear newmonk,
Why not check out the USA Country pages? All the information that you need should be there.
http://www.abrsm.org/?page=regions/us/eng/index.htmlhttp://www.abrsm.org/?page=regions/us/eng/...tent/dates.htmlYour local representatives have been sent information and fee leaflets for all the exams and so should be able to help you. However, if not, please use the links and contact details on this page to contact the USA Co-ordinator here at Portland Place. Her name is Alison Longden and she will be delighted to answer any further queries you might have.
Best regards
Christine Morris
