I'm doing my grade 8 theory next thursday Anyone else doing theory this time? Or is there anyone else that has done grade 8 theory before that could help me or give me any advice?

I start getting nervous as soon as the letter notifying me of the exam date arrives! First of all I start to panic, then after a few days I calm down again (but still start to feel doubts, and wonder if I'm really capable of doing the exam...).

Then on the day itself I am really nervous, have butterflies, and can't wait for it to be over. As soon as the exam is over though, I am really happy and on such a high - I want to go back in and do it all over again! lol.

Feeling nervous is normal of course - I try to think of it as being 'excited' instead.

I,m taking my grade 5 flute on the 16th march. Good luck to every1 taking thier exams. Rember stay calm, take your time, and show off everything u know to the examiner and u'll be just fine.

Good luck! Try not to worry - if you've worked hard and are good enough to take the exam, then you should pass.
