My sister has just finished Year 11 and consequently is being sent a large number of prospectuses by local sixth form colleges she has no intention of attending. Can anyone suggest a use for these? I suggested hamster/rabbit bedding or BBQ kindling, all other suggestions (however impractical) welcome. Bonus points for music-related ones.

is the paper of them too glossy to make good papier-mache? I'm sure there could be some instrument making potential in that.....

Quite possible, I know that you're not supposed to put newprint with colour printing in wormeries

If they're unsuitable for composting, I put a sticker on them over my address and mark them 'Return to Sender' - although that's more for junk mail where there's a chance that if I don't get them to take me off the mailing list they'll still be sending me stuff in years to come.

Make sure you have with you when you go shopping and, if you stop for a coffee and have a wonky table, stick one under the shorter table leg

I would just put them in the paper recycling.
