I know I'm basking in my daughter's glory, but can't help wanting to tell everybody!

Last September, she brought the double-bass home from school. It was a bit of a whim, but would be a change from violin. Never played bass-clef before.

Well last night she heard the results from her TG exam. Grade 5 distinction! hurrah.gif

I'm so impressed by her. I think it might cost me a treat today, when we go shopping!

Well done. Under these circumstances you have reason to be proud. It's worth being a mum for moments just like these.

Looking forward to a proud big sis (whose smaller than her younger brother) when he gets PhD... its just been submitted.

Congratulations to your daughter tongue.gif You must be a proud parent (unsure about mum or dad!). I'm currently working on my grade 8 so a pass would be fine haha
