I love Jazz music, but I can't seem to be able to improvise, maybe I'm not very confident.. I don't know, but does anyone have any tips on how I could improve my improvising?

have you tried using the blues scale - C Eb F F# G Bb C - as and example in C
try to use a pattern that you repeat and add to don't go wildly all over the place or maby try inprovising just aroung a chord there's loads of ways - although most people tend to use the various scales used in jazz such as the pentatonic the blues scale and some stranger scales cald modes

try this
to get rid of inhibitions etc
use a blues chord prog inthe left hand and then with the right hand try n play as many rong notes as you can! its really liberating
also practice with rythmns using just the one note- make it sounds as interestin as you cann
annnnd
experiment with different sounds - forget about notes and what theyre called!
hope this helps

try it when no one else is around, then it won't matter if it sounds bad, and keep trying - because it probably will sound bad at first, but the only way you will get it sounding good is by having a go!

The advice you have been given is of most basic content. Of course play a chord, and play some notes...but you want to play jazz, you want to improvise.
You need to know WHAT you are playing, WHY you are playing it, and HOW you came to play it. Jazz has got an incredible encyclopaedia of knowledge. Don't get the impression you play any notes and you're an improvisor, please don't think that.
You must be aware of the 7 thousand plus chords/inversions, the many scales, and what each individual note "is" within a different chord sequence. I wont give exmaples..I want you to learn it properly. I will basically say learn your major scales, learn the major scale harmony modal chords (do you know them? I seriously recommend you learn them), and then you'll start to "understand" what notes to play, and you'll know why you are playing certain things. Improvisation and Jazz are 99% theory, and 1% passion.
Don't forget that.
