Hi,
I've grown up with Technics keyboards and always found them much better quality etc. than Yamaha. My problem is, now that Technics are no longer, I can not recommend any Technics keyboards to pupils unless they purchase them second hand. Does anyone have any suggestions as to good Yamaha keyboards to recommend, ones which have a disk drive, a memory control panel to change sounds and the sequencer to do real-time and step recording?
Thanks,
Jo

Me again...have a look at this page:
http://uk.yamaha.com/en/products/musical-i...ds/?mode=series If you click on an individual model and then on the 'specs' tab it gives you plenty of info about that model. The PSR E423 has some multi-track recording facility but the arranger workstations have far more potential. However they are considerably more expensive. Alternatively pupils could probably go for a cheaper keyboard and use it to record information into a software package on a computer.
I have a PSR S710 which I use a lot for performing and it's great because I can keep plenty of registration information stored in it. It also has full keyboard mode which is useful.
