Right i have an aim to sit my grade 8 theory by no later than december 2012. I would like some advise please, i have the grade 8 book and past pappers but there is such a lot to read and i am struggling to find any inspiration for it...

What are your theory skills like at the moment lcox? We can't help you get there unless we know where you are starting from!

relatively good, part way through a music degree

lcox, I'm kind of headed the same direction although not working on music degree.

Took grade 5 (theory) in Oct 2010, grade 6 in March (2011), will take 7 in Oct, and definitely HAVE TO take 8 by March 2010...

My reasons for pushing so rapidly through the grades is that I already actively arrange and record music and might run of $$$ really soon to meet rising tuition fees.
