Argh, gave up on this first time round and now I really want to get it working, but it is doing my head in!!

So, I?ve managed to get it to load tracks and it seems to be playing them, but for some reason I can?t get any sound. The volume is adjusted to maximum on the menu, and the computer hardware is working because iTunes plays fine.

So what have I missed?

Also, it seems to be doing something odd - the little red dot that shows the progress of the track just keeps going and floats off onto the rest of the screen after it has crossed the Speedshifter circle.

Close to meltdown.

Are you using an .mp3 file?

Yes. It didn?t work at all until I converted what I had to mp3. Anyway, the most urgent CD that I needed it for turned out to have some alternative software on that would slow down the tracks, so I?m using that instead now!
