I've just booked onto this playday having not been to one for over a year.
I just wondered if anyone else is going to this?

I couldn't find a thread for it so I'm sorry if there is one.

The last few have clashed with other events : the one that clashed with a CASS event recently was particularly unfortunate. I'm rehearsing with pianocelloflute that afternoon so this is another one I've got to miss, sadly. Hopefully I'll be able to go again in 2012, but the noises coming out of the Thameside camp suggest that there may be no more after this one due to poor attendances this year

Hi Barry, Sorry you won't be there - Things always seem to happen on the same day don't they?

I hope they do get enough people this time to decide to keep running them, but I did get an email reacently suggesting numbers were low.

Just to let everyone know, there are enough people to run it this year, so it's definatly on for October 16th.

It was a good day. Great music and very friendly and well organised.

I met someone I met in the summer too so it was nice to catch up.

I think there were a few less people than the last time I went which was a couple of years ago, but still about 6 per 'desk' and a good range of bass instruments.

Nice building which is really convienent for car access (not so sure about rail though) Nice weather was a bonus too!
