I'm on tenterhooks waiting to hear if my written submission has been accepted or not....
Does any know what the timescale is for this and what happens after you've submitted your essay?
Just wondering....

Hi Sioni
When I did mine, I sent it in with my entry form for the exam - I think that's still what it says in the syllabus. The entry was acknowledged after the closing date, then I didn't hear any more until I got the exam appointment.
Best of luck.

My experience too - certainly what the syllabus stated at the time.

I sent the written submission with the entry form by recorded delivery last week.
Keeping everything crossed!
Thanks for replying.
Sioni.

But you realise you won't know what mark you got for the written submission until you get the overall result? It's not a case of passing that section (unless it's the LRSM case studies) before you enter for the rest of the exam. The mark for the written submission can be adjusted depending on the outcome of the viva. You should get an acknowledgement that they've received it, but the next you'll hear will be a date for the exam itself.

Thanks for explaining that. I was under the impression from reading another post on this forum that if your written submission wasn't good enough then you would't be invited to do a viva. I must have misunderstood. Thanks for explaining. Sioni.
