I'm having many pupils whine at the moment about sore throats and saying they can't sing with one. What's the deal with this - can they or can't they? I've heard many different opinions. Thanks.

If it hurts to swallow or there is tickling in the back of the throat don't sing - you can cause damage which takes a long time to heal.
