Having been unable to find a publisher for any of my music, I am currently considering self-publishing. Has anyone ever tried this before? I have a large number of pieces written (over 50) for all different voices and instruments. They are currently all available free on the Sibelius Music site (I can't post the link here, but PM me if you want to take a look at them).

If I go ahead with this, then obviously I want to provide the sort of formats that people would want to buy. Does anyone have any thoughts on what they would want? What would be the most convenient way to purchase music? Would you prefer spiral bound piano or instrumental music? Is there a market out there for new music? Are CD accompniments useful for instrumental pieces - what about choral music - choirs with no pianists?

Lots of questions here - any ideas?
