Many thanks for this; looks nice and I think I might even manage the semiquaver pedal bit.

Never heard of the composer, though. blink.gif

I hadn't heard of him either. Apparently he was a pupil of Gigout.

Thank you. I'll give that one a whirl next week.

I think when I do it, it will be more Moderato than Allegro.

It seems to imply for the registration: Full Monty minus anything 16'. Is this correct? Even for pedals?

Well, I play on a quite modest 2 manual so I start with everything sensible out minus the swell reed. That comes on on the last page when the main theme returns in D minor. Obviously Sw to Gt coupled. Some alternation between the manuals is sensible to provide contrast. Regarding the pedals you certainly need 16' - preferably quite a bold one if available.

It is a cracking piece and very easy indeed. Thank you for bringing it to our attention and providing a copy of the score for free.

I feel just ....so overwhelmingly valued by all the positve comments from you guys. Experts every one of you! I might even treat myself to yet another (large) glass of Harvey's BC before I am put to bed. It's lights out at 9.30 pm prompt for us old fogeys if you don't mind.
