Looks good but a pity you can't just go for the day sad.gif

Will certainly look into the day event though as I should still be a beginner / intermediate by then I imagine! smile.gif

I see you're going for another entry in the "Misreading topic titles" thread. tongue.gif

So you also misread it.

I was interested too - until I realised that it was about a Brass instrument with a single reed !! smile.gif biggrin.gif tongue.gif

Or a woodwind instrument made of brass laugh.gif

This looks really good - excellent tutors smile.gif Musicstand would love to go, but will probably have too much on, and I'm not sure we'll be able to afford it.

Excellent tutors, eh? huh.gif (Mad Tom, you are a bad influence!)

Hmm, I'm sure James Rae's a very nice chap, but I don't think he's my type...

Snigger, nor mine, but joking aside, a very talented composer, and reading the link in Barry's first post, I'd not realised that we'd studied with the same composition tutor. biggrin.gif From an accompanists perspective, I like James Rae's pieces even though he does go off the beaten track occasionally! wacko.gif

The other tutors are excellent too, I can certainly vouch for how well Alistair Parnell, Sarah Markham and Nicola Pennill play. Sounds like a good weekend.
