Grade 6 passed! Phew! 74% which wasn't quite the merit I was hoping for but I've got it done.

Who's tackling Grade 7 then?!

Paul.

Mine were online yesterday, but the post has just arrived and nothing for me.

My results were by email - I find that online entries appear to speed things up no end.

I had braced myself to wait 6-8 weeks. I could have been knocked down with a feather when they came through Monday!

Really pleased I passed considering it took me thick end of 2yrs to pluck up the courage and then 6 weeks of frantic cramming!

Woo-hoo!! Son No.1 got a distinction (96) for his Gr 5 yay.gif !! Looks like making him do a timed paper every single day during the half-term holiday (boy, was I ever unpopular laugh.gif ) did the trick....

Of course, this now means that his trumpet teacher is going to put him in for his Gr 6 next term, which means he really has to master all those scales (including melodic minors) and get his head around transposition and the Gr 6 aurals, pronto. ph34r.gif Just a little something to ensure we have a very happy Christmas.... rolleyes.gif

Excellent result, well done. Grade 5 is a real hurdle for those who want to progress their practical sad.gif

The results are early, so maybe the certificates will be the usual length of time ie 6 to 8 weeks from 2nd Nov.

According to ABRSM, when online results appear, the result is out in the post.

It must be due to delays in the post because of Christmas, I would imagine. dry.gif

Got my results online a few days ago, Grade 5, 82 and 91. No certificates yet though.

Claire83
Well done on all the great results. I was very pleasantly surprised to achieve an 84 in G7! I almost didn't go to the exam as I had done so little preparation so it just goes to show that it's always worth a try.

Now on to Grade 8 next year... eek!

Also no postal results yet - online result was available on Tuesday for me (G centre).

Paul Moscrop
Hopefully - they'll get posted to my piano teacher's house as he put me in for the exam. Hopefully speak to him on the phone later and collect certificate at some point!

When I find out I'll let you know how I got on. I was doing grade three, hopefully passed!

Paul - there's a message from the mods on the teachers' forum re theory results (in case you hadn't seen it) - slightly delay to some and will be in the post shortly. My practical envelope arrived this morning, so the system otherwise, and the post, seem to be ok.
Paul Moscrop
Hi

Does this mean I shouldn't expect my results today?

Hi

Paul.

If your teacher put in the entries online, the results may be there, even though the paperwork isn't out yet. It might be worth phoning your teacher to see, unless you know for sure that the entries went in by post.
Paul Moscrop
I know he submitted them by post. I was just wondering as some people have received postal results.
maggiemay
I see - sorry.
Paul Moscrop
My results might have arrived if they were sent out early. I was told that when results appear online, they are in the post?

Not all results are issued at the same time, though given the message I read from the Board earlier, all theory results have now been issued online. As I understand it, if you have an applicant number, you can view results online whether you entered them online or on paper. Normally, when results are available to view online, this means they have also been issued by post; however, given the mods message earlier, there may be some delays, but everyone should receive their results in the post by the 16th December.
Paul Moscrop
Hi:

My piano teacher submitted his applicants through the post. I have his applicant number; however he has not registered online. How can I check the results online even if he does not have a password? Is that possible?

Paul
