I've just realised that when I said please vote 4 me it sounded like I was in an election or something!
Oops...

Duh...

my cats like to wander about on the keyboard when its on- they're a bunch of seriously avant garde artistes
the dog is completely indifferent.
i used to sing to the horses which often calmed them down- but then horses are known for reacting to peoples voices anyways so i don't know if it makes any difference if you sing or chatter

i don't think clarinetlover was implying that there was anything wrong with your pets, just that she doesn't desire any for herself

(huge sigh) .. I'm 100% in accord with you. People don't need pets and pets don't need people.

I used to play the dog. Something went wrong the day I picked up a saw by accident instead of the bow.

well, when she gets either annoyed, frustrated, excited, happy or is chewing a bone, she tends to roll on her back, her ears go up and she sings! I suppose you could call it howling, but it's more like a great long 'urrrrrrrrrrr' it's so cute...
she's called meg, and OUCH, she just nibbled my feet a bit harder then she intended to...
she doesn't bite, she's not vicous btw, she's the soppiest dog you could imagine!

hey, I'm being outvoted here !
Oh yeah, also, when Rhapsodin said earlier 'Pets don't need people' s/he was wrong. The point of domestic animals is that they do keep people company, so if you got a domestic animal and released it into the wild, it would either die within a week because it didn't know how to care for itself or it would be lucky and find another family to take care of it.
Sorry, I'm ranting now, but this is a subject I feel quite strongly on!

I have strong views on a lot of things by the way!
lol

or it...

You never know, could be from Mars, or some other planet!

(Note the abscence of the pronoun in that sentence)
The only clear way to know is for to admit gender, status, race, being. However, seeing as refuses to state so, there must be a reason... possibley that is a alien trying to take over this world, or a robot of some sort...
Or he/she/it/they/we/I/you(informal, singualar)/you(informal, plural)/you(formal, singular)/you(formal, plural) am/are/is just not wanting to disclose his/her/its/their/our/my/your identity and gender.
Either way.

I understand that Rhapsodin is of the male persuasion, but Rhapsi, if you're reading this, feel free to correct me.
Anyway - back to the topic for a moment. Lifestyle won't permit a dog, so I have a hamster. His name's Nelson, as in the Haydn mass, and he loves me. At least I resisted the urge to buy him a harness and lead last week.
Hamsters are definitely THE most musical pets going. I once had a hamster who would wake up each evening in time to listen to the Prom broadcast (or maybe this was because his cage was above the speaker, so he got woken at 7.30 each evening, eventually becoming conditioned to waking up at 7.30).
Dogs rule. Hamsters rule. Cats - get outta town!
