Hello there,
I posted a topic a few months ago but now can't find it to see the answers so am going to write it again!
I have a 13 year old young clarinettist who is working for grade 4. He is keen and enthusiastic and I think it would really benefit him to be part of a group or ensemble. The orchestra at his school is not well organised or very good and for various reasons, I have doubts about west sussex music service. This is one of the reasons he comes to me for private lessons in Croydon from East Grinstead! (I used to teach at his school down that way and after a gap am now teaching him again).
Do any of you have any ideas of groups, ensembles, orchestras or even clarinet choirs that I can suggest for him to join?
Also, on a separate query.. does anyone know of any music groups for young children (specifically 4 1/2) in London (ie. like monkey music but for children slightly older? Or music theatre groups?
I would be very grateful for your feedback...
Kind regards,
Nadia
