I had a letter from the organiser of this course yesterday, asking whether I knew of anyone who might be interested as they still have a few spaces to fill. I've been on their courses before and they're most enjoyable, but I'm already booked up to go on another course for that particular weekend.

They still have spaces for an oboe, a clarinet, three horns and two bassoons, of Grade 5 standard and above. The course runs from 11am on Friday 30th March through to 4pm on Sunday 1st April, and is at Hawkwood College in the Cotswolds. Most of the time will be spent in wind quintet formation, but there will be sessions with smaller and larger combinations too.

Thanks for posting this. By the time I phoned them at 9am there was no longer an oboe place, but I managed to book on their later course in August biggrin.gif

Wish I could go too!

Thanks jo.clarinet! I've edited the first post on the 2012 Music Courses thread to include this.
