Dear All

I was wondering if you could share your knowledge / experience and let me know if I should practice hands seperately first, hands together and only then, add the pedal part?

Is there a definite best way to practice the organ?

Well usually if I have some new organ music, I do usually play it through on the piano (manuals only with the odd added bass pedal note for effect), before I go off to the church. Pedal part is easier to add if you are already familiar with the manuals. Sometimes you get those awkward bits where your left hand and pedal lose co-ordination , in which case I would certainly practise those bits as left hand/pedal only. I dont usually find I have to practise righthand/pedal together though.
