I've posted the "exciting news" thread in Forum Cafe. My choir has just received confirmation that it will be able to give only the second known performance of Vaughan Williams work The Garden of Proserpine, which had lain undiscovered for 100 years.
The full programme is
The Lark Ascending
The Garden of Proserpine
The Sea Symphony
Performance will be with a fully pro orchestra and soloists.
Due to licensing constraints on the venue, audience tickets will be strictly limited to 300. See here for more info (site should get updated re G of P today).
If you would like more info, please feel free to PM me.
