sad.gif I did think she was about 60-odd before today though and had been in her 30's-40's in her heyday!

Seems to be far too many troubled souls in the world of pop.

So many troubled souls in so many areas of life, so many parts of the world. Sad indeed.

According to the obits, I Will Always Love You has become a popular musical item for weddings and funerals. Why oh why??

Whitney and Luther Vandross took R&B to a brand new level. As did Aaliyah....sadly now we're in the age of commercial rubbish. Alicia K is fantastic tho, I'm a massive fan and the pirate radio here in Birmingham always champion her stuff!

rip WH, tho I still find it difficult to believe Luther V has gone.
