I don't know about anyone else, but I learn a wealth of useful information from these forums. Anything from teaching tips, practice tips, to useful websites, recommended books and so on. Do any of you have a system for keeping a note of tips, ideas and recommendations ... and if so, how do you do it?
The same question also applies to making a note of useful things read in journals. I might not want to keep the whole journal, but there might be some really useful ideas dotted throughout. How to remember them without just ending up with a huge pile of journals, with no idea where the info is in any of them?

Forum stuff is easy - you just click options - download - and choose your format.
If you use windows it'll download into MyDocuments/Downloads and you can drag it from there into a folder for the forum or for a topic, however you organise stuff.
For print stuff if I don't want to keep the mag I'll scrap-book it (cut out and stick). If I don't want the whole mag scanning does the trick.
Oh and with Firefox you can download web-pages to access off line too.
