Hi all

I'm looking at the grade 5 pieces for organ and already have books with suitable list A and B pieces but can anyone recommend a nice piece to learn for list C?

Some of the books are quite pricy, I don't mind making an "investment" in one but don't want to buy a book and realise I hate the piece in it!

I have tried youtube to see whats about but wouldn't it be great for ABRSM to have small "snippets" of the required pieces so we could make a more informed decsision! rolleyes.gif

How about the CS Lang Tuba Tune, its fairly well known and many organists play it- its almost standard repertoire ?
My alternative would be Rawsthorne 'Fanfare for Francis'

Thanks for the suggestions, I have managed to find both of them on Youtube and the Tuba piece grabs me more than the fanfare...plus... the Tuba piece is available at a very reasonable price which I like even more biggrin.gif

Can't wait to get started now, I like to stay one step ahead of my tutor and pick my pieces before he does, we don't always share the same taste in music! tongue.gif
