May I add my good luck wishes! And a last minute tip to all candidates - read the questions thoroughly. Don't lose any marks with silly mistakes. Use the time allocated, and check your answers.

Argh, only realised this evening that my son's school trip tomorrow gets back at 5pm.... Bless him, he's decided to do the exam and blow out the trip.

Oh dear! My daughter came out (early, despite strict instructions not to) saying "it was really easy" and then proceeded to tell me all the ones she hadn't been able to do!
So far I have only detected one "idiot mistake". She thought the enharmonic equivalent of something double sharp was something double flat. But there were also Italian words she had forgotten and 4 successive chromatic notes that she failed to find as well as a question on instruments that she didn't understand and guessed.

Don't fret - it's so much easier to remember the questions that were tricky and forget all the things you did right.
My son has had a running joke about one of the italian terms that came up today and in the actual exam he could only remember our silly definition, not the real meaning.

Well, it could be. C double sharp is E double flat in an equally-tempered world

Ah yes, but if the question asked about C double sharp, she said D double flat.
