I've just read in my wife's TV rag Francesca Annis ('Lillie') is filming a new drama about Hatto with herself playing the title role. Her husband and mentor...and first and foremost denier of all accusations levelled at her will be played by Alfred Molina (Roger and Val) so it should be quite good.

I already have a half hour documentary on her made for Channel 4 a few years ago.

It's scheduled for prime time broadcast on BBC 1 at 8.30pm on 23 Dec 2012 (Sunday)! Alfred Molina was uncanny in his interpretation of John Ogdon ('Virtuoso', 1989) and I have high hopes for this biopic.

On a somewhat tangential note, does anyone recall the name and details of another female pianist (amateur I think) who claimed to be in touch with dead composers, particularly Chopin and Beethoven, for whom she transcribed new piano works?

There was some conversation about it on the forum at the time - The Great Piano Scam

Thanks for the heads-up on this, it should be fascinating!
