What footwear do you use for piano practice / lessons? I am getting quite frustrated because my shoes have developed a squeak, despite being well worn in, and my trainers also squeak. It's definitely my footwear and not the pedal.

What do other people do about squeaks? wacko.gif

Oops, sorry, got flood control, and accidentally posted twice.

I wear slippers on the house and whatever shoes I happen to be wearing in lessons and elsewhere. Never had any problems with footwear.

I wear whatever I'm wearing - and I haven't had any problems with squeaky shoes. The only thing would be if the sole was a bit slippery and slipped off the pedal: that can be noisy.

I wear slippers - including to my exam today laugh.gif . Fortunately, they are the slip-on variety that look exactly like black suede flats, rather than big Garfield jobs....
