Published by Dover, edited by Carl Mikuli.
Reason I am offering this for adoption: I bought the wrong edition by mistake (teacher wanted me to get Penderecki). After restocking fee blahblahblah, it's just not really worth the refund (as it cost not much in the first place) so I would rather give it to someone who will play it.
I don't personally have anything against this edition but my teacher believes that Penderecki is the one to use.(In fact I already had another edition of the Etudes, don't mind keeping two but having three seems pointless).
PM me please if interested.

You would'nt get a refund anyway, have seen many people trying to return music to Chappels etc, and all have been told the same thing. I have the Peters Edition of the Etudes, and amongst a couple of others the Henle of the preludes, only shame is I'm not that happy with the way I play anything by Chopin. I love the way teachers prattle on about particular editions yet allow-and in some cases instruct-their students to pedal through clashing harmonies and ignore dynamics etc after the pupil aquiring the desired edition. And then learning one piece from it.

It wasn't Chappells - it was an online retailer. If I'd been to Chappells I'd have seen it was the wrong edition. Actually, this one was my fault totally - I misread something.
So far I have only starting learning one Etude (Tristesse) but I know I'm going to learn many more - which is a good thing as the Penderecki edition was considerably more pricy than the Dover!

This is a good idea, I have got music that I could give away too. Some of it is in rough condition, though.
