I was contemplating doing my Grade 6 clarinet exam (and possibly higher!) some time in the future, but I did my Grade 5 theory around 10 years ago. Do you need to show proof of passing this or when you book do they check you've passed it? I don't think I would have a clue where to find my certificate (you know what mum's are like tongue.gif )

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you took the exam in 1994 or later then it's recorded on their computer systems so you don't need to find the certificate. If you've changed your name (got married or whatever) since then I'm guessing you send whatever bit of paper relates to that so that they can match the name to the certificate.

Ahh, thanks. That clears that matter up smile.gif I took it about 10 years ago, so probably 2001 or 2002 so I should be covered smile.gif and I'm not married so don't need to worry on that front laugh.gif

From recent experience, if you've moved areas you may need to phone up the board so they can marry you up your old records...
