Basically musicians worldwide have auditioned (we got sent a digital click track and audio interpretation and sheet music and had to send our recording via dropbox/email) to be selected to be part of a grand Symphony; and in keeping with twitter fashion (as far as I understand) the pieces with all be under 140 beats of music or less
If any of you saw the stunning Eric Whitacre 'In sleep' project (using singers from all over the globe; youtube it, it's fab!) I think it's going to be similar but obviously with instruments this time.
It seems to be attracting a fair bit of attention already so worth a look if you're a twitterer!
