Hi,
Thanks for all your advice last time I posted. Some of you were right about not taking two exams at once because I only passed Grade 3 piano and Grade 6 clainet and I wanted higher marks! But to console myself I took up alto saxophone! Heehee....I'm taking Grade 3 in three weeks and it's eeeeaaaaasssssssyyyy...yay.
However, what pieces do you recommend for Grade 4? And I really can't decide for Grade 7/8 Clarinet.
Im doing the Lutoslawski Dance and the Galliard study but should I do Tartitni's Concertino or Saint-Saens? Help!
Sorry to go on but Im just hoping someone knows all these pieces I'm talking about...heh. For Grade 8 Clarinet, Mozart's Concerto (in list A)...how come it's so long? Do you only play the solos or something? And any suggestions for other pieces?

Thanks for listening...hehe.

I did the Saint-Saens and hated it with a passion!

Lol, so the tartini it is, i suppose the best way to do it is to get a recording of both pieces and listen to them both to see which appeals to you the most. or get the sheet music for them and have a play though them.

Unless my computer is deceiving me, it seems that you're replying to a question that's over four years old!
